The Weekend 10/1
It’s time to wake up everyone, September ended yesterday and it’s officially Spooktober. Rabbit Rabbit to all those who get it. Slip on some corduroy and dive into a dark beer, because it’s The Weekend. In this newsletter, we do not recycle music. While I should’ve had the foresight to make this Weekend’s song Wake Me Up When September Ends, I did not and I already used it. Instead, we’ll go with Wake Me Up by Avicii, because it’s still a banger and gets the same point across. Enjoy and RIP Avicii.
Wednesday was National Coffee Day, which got me thinking about a couple things this week.
The first being, is the Pumpkin Spice Latte actually good or have we just been conditioned by big coffee and Instagram to believe it is? Transparently, I think it is quite tasty, but I don’t know if it actually gets the job done from a caffeination standpoint.
The second thing I got to thinking about (and is a constant debate at the office) is which form of coffee is superior: iced or hot? I really go back and forth on this debate. I almost never make iced coffee for myself, but I almost always get an iced coffee when I purchase one. All that is to say, iced coffee is a giant scam created by big coffee because you typically get less coffee for more money, but yes I’ll continue to buy it.
I’d love to hear all your opinions on this debate - hit that reply button with your most controversial coffee thoughts.
And as always, enjoy yourselves this Weekend. Be safe and make me proud.
